  • VIC WTB: Golf MK6, 5 door, manual, sunroof.

Looking to upgrade my grey MK5 (2.0L petrol) to something a bit newer and brighter, so white or red would be my colour preference. Don't think Golfs came in yellow but if so would be good as it'd match my motorcycle

http://youtu.be/f3dpFzU7hwcSo .... in summary looking for:

Golf MK6, 5 door, manual, sunroof, GTI or not, white or red.

No idea how much I should be paying but currently this one has me interested:

2010 Volkswagen Golf VI GTI MY10

    cheers,

Youcould get a Cabriolet... giant sunroof although only has three doors

Seriously though, do another search for Golf R's... the difference between that and a GTI is a little surprising.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Thanks, I bet it makes a difference to the insurance premium

But seriously, I don't really need the extra power of even the GTI, I have my Honda VFR whenever I "feel the need for speed"

Please don't ridicule me but I just found out there hasn't been a normally aspirated 2L petrol Golf since the MK5 :-/

Hence a dealer is offering me a super/turbo charged 1.4L petrol.

Can somebody give me an idea how one of these would drive compared to mine? Apparently total KW is similar, but I'm sure engine characteristics will be quite different
