        I actually looked into what was legal a few weeks back for a prospective. Seems that as of last month, a post 2010 car with a power to weight < 130kW/tonne and no mods is legal. Why post 2010? I guess they picked a nice round number...
        Different states have different rules, and don't forget that regardless of what state you are licenced in if driving interstate you must comply with their rules...

          WA doesnt have any p plate restrictions at the moment

          (we also allow radars LOL)

            We have radars over here. In fact, the government love them. Just not allowed radar detectors.

                Congrats on the purchase, it looks in fantastic condition. The distance covered on the long trips is definitely preferable to stop/go city commuting.

                  Picked it up from the transport depot yesterday - very pleased with it.

                  Just waiting for the new wheels and tyres which will be another week and then to decide if it goes for a licensing inspection with the new wheels/tyres, or a borrowed set.

                    wheels and tyres now on.



                    fronts look a teeny bit wide. It hasnt been registered yet, so hopefully we get a friendly inspection done.
