Hi I am thinking of selling the MK2 to buy a MK1, It's in Brisbane and
She is a 90 mod big bumper 4dr 8v aus delivered GTI

I bought it about a year ago and have been tidying her up ever since

Here's what I've done so far
-Hottunings coilovers
-replaced missing GTI trims and body kit
-replaced the gear shift bushings
-reco'd the CV joints
-new front rotors
-just bought a worked PF head for it
(not installed)
-new heater core (not installed)
-new timing belt with tensioner (not installed)
-new vacuum lines
-new plugs and leads
-new drive belts
-got a stock airbox and K and N filter to replace the pod
-2e 2 litre bottom end swap
-new clutch
-reco'd 1.8 head

Interier is good, only things missing are the door pockets and the hazard switch
outside is ok, bonnet needs a respray
AC doesn't work, not sure what it needs to get it going
Has a little rust around the front windscreen and the bottom of the front pas door

I am looking for $3500 as is (shouldn't need much for RWC I only had to do the CVs)
Willing to do less if I can keep the BBS RA's

Price drop to $2500 as is, I am now being forced to sell due to change of circumstance

Car currently has BBS RA's on it but they aren't included at that price......
Will try and find a set of steelies for the sale or you are welcome to BYO

Bumping this thread back to life as I have decided to move onto something more modern.......

I have just finished spending a fair chunk of cash on this with the new clutch and engine swap....

Good choice Jason ..... however prepare to deal with joys of owning an old VW ..... I have 1 of those as well now and its a challenge at times.
