Problem is its not cheap enough ..... there's many thousands of $$$$ required to fix the gearbox .... I confirmed that with Bne's resident VW specialist ....its a big and expensive job.

Gearbox plus dual mass fly wheel plus labour = big $$'s. Not to mention that you might as well do the timing chain while the gearbox is out. Sorry don't mean to cruel the sale but I was considering this myself as I have a gearbox to suit.
2001 Bora 4 Motion Sport now used by number two son

I was looking at your car when I bought mine, would have bought it if it was a few grand cheaper when I first saw it.

If you part it out im interested in the 4-mo lip, wheels and lower fogs.

Also all of the interior including carpet but I will probably not have enough money

car will be returned to rwc status not willing to have another car taking up space. price of parts in australia are rediculous will be pulling gearbox myself and sending it off to my vw mech.required parts for gearbox flywheel and clutch will be obtained overseas. timing chain doesnt need to be changed till 180k direct info from austral vw in the valley. car comes with log book services from vw austral and a vw specialist in geebung will be serviced prior to sale with rwc supplied as a result price will go up. if you are worried that i will be carrying out the fitment myself i am a well equipped aviation mechanical engineer. diagnosing, removing and fitting parts to a high quality IS MY LIFE!!!
