Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

      Guys,

Maybe you could give some feedback reference pricing for this one?

There are many of you who are regular posters to this site and may be able to give some guidance on pricing for this one.....

Not ready to give it away but need funds as new home just finished and pressure from the missus.

It's a great looking car and has never missed a beat..... I believe the pricing is right and there's not too many around but would welcome some opinions as to it's true worth....Is it too expensive? Is it too cheap or have I got it right?

      Over to you guys please........

I reckon you're pretty close, the trouble is that there's not much of a market for older "project type" cars atm, people havnt got much in the way of spare cash generally.

if you can hold out at that price you might get a buyer but otherwise what can you do?
