I'm aware that window tint is under regulations for the VLT, but what about sunshades?

new to vw never owned one but after a week of driving the car should've got one earlier
2019 Comfortline Tiguan 51000 kms on the clock, so far wrapped steering wheel in Alcantara
suede material , 35% all round 99% uv ceramic tint planned stage 1 tune and removal...

I've just put a deposit on a Polo GTI and got the inevitable follow up call to ask about window tint and paint/interior protection.

I'll get the tint done as the car is white, but does anyone have experience with ceramic coating? I searched the forum and couldn't find much info.

Anyone had any luck matching the tint form the factory supplied R-Line for the front passenger windows?

Mine has been done, but i'm considering having it removed and re-matched if possible. The front's have a green/grey tinge to them, and not the charcoal/darker...

We have a mk6r and have noticed that the window tint on the drivers door has a heap of scratches running vertically down the mid section, top to bottom.
I have pulled the door trim off and the window rubber out to see if there are any damaged guides.
I can't see...

My new (2012) Alltrack had just failed a pit inspection due to the tinting being too dark.

Does anyone know if the tint that comes standard with the sports pack can be removed? Or is it part of the glass?

I would have thought that factory tinted...

I’ve decided to get my Tiguan tinted by a local guy that comes highly recommended by my mechanic. Rob at Hunters Hill seems to be the guy for Volkswagons but Hunters Hill is just a bit too far frm home for me to fit it in. The local guy uses Llumar tint and it comes with a lifetime...

Just picked up a B6 Passat Wagon with the 2L TDI motor and DSG box. Absolutely love it, nicest car to drive I've ever had. Bit of a change from my BA xr6 turbo, but it was time for something more family friendly.

Just a quick before and after comparo.... Suspension, wheels, window tint are the most obvious..More to come....

Hi all ,anyone know the visible light transmission levels for the sunset glass & the standard side windows which seem to have a very slight green tinge to them. I am planning to put ceramic tint - not too dark, more for blocking UV, but would be nice to know what VLT the car has already. Thanks
