Nsw south coast resident with a 2008 td5. Got a few problems and looking for help..

Our 2008 duel cab transporter td5 6 speed manual 165000km.
We are getting a high whistling sound when when accelerating ect doe's not do it on idle.
Dealer says its the ac/alt coupling what one i don't know as far as i can see there is two one for ac one for alt.
