Hi, I would like to change my standard steering wheel for a flat bottom one like the golf GTI or sirocco, does anyone know if it is a straight swap or will it need to be programmed ,

Have just bought a 2012 Sirocco R. It has an aftermarket Alpine head unit. Everything seems to work ok but anytime I touch any switch below the head unit like aircon or seat heaters the revers camera appears on the screen. Any clues on what is wrong before I pull the head unit out to investigate?...
