Rattle in silencer in T4

Hi. I recently went on a 500km road trip towing a trailer load of gear. On arrival I noticed a strange rattle. I've worked out its something in the silencer. Is there a way to remove it? Thinking I could take it off and hopefully tip what ever is rattling around out. Any thoughts?
