I have been having issues with the Discover Media Infotainment System playing MP3s from SD Cards or USB Drives in my Tiguan Adventure for some time now. My dealer has been made aware of the issues but as expected, they have pretty much fobbed me off by blaming my media.

Songs cut short on SD card in RCD 510
Hi all,
Noticed a very strange thing tonight. I put some MP3s on a 1GB SD card to play in the RCD 510 in my Mk 6 GTI. What happened though was that a song that is say 3:00 in length would only show up as 1:30-something on the screen. Lo and behold, when the time remaining reached zero,... -
SD Card Startup in Bolero
Not sure how many people use the SD card slot in the stereo but this seemed a good alternative to the MDI interace plus cable plus ... scenario.
However in practise the SD card seems to take forever to initialise.
I am using an 8 Gb card (apparenlty up to 32 Gb can be used)...
