Have managed to retro fit frontfog lights, made my own harness, all wired up apart from the relay feed, where would I take the feed from to trigger the relay ?.
Any ideas out there .

Partner's 2005 Golf BLR is not cranking but when I jumper the solenoid S terminal to battery + the car cranks and starts. Put a multimeter on the solenoid trigger wire from the ignition switch and 0 volts when cranking, but 5 volts when not cranking. Weird.

Figure it could be a fault...

Just recently my AC stopped cooling. This is the Core 4x4 model so it does not have full climate control, just simple AC.
I have checked the ODB2 interface and it does not show any errors so I am guessing that the sensors are OK.
I have recently changed the cabin filter....

Hi all, The horn has stopped working in my 2011 1.2 tsi
I suspect it is the relay or actual horn, as the steering wheel clicks when pressed.
Checked the fuses are ok.
Does anyone know where the horn relay is, I cannot spot it anywhere !
and how to get to the horn itself....

Trying to install some additional lighting, and I need to pick up a feed wire for the relay to switch on when high beams are activated. I haven't been able to see any wiring diagrams that correctly identify the correct wire to tap into.

It will control the rear windows as normal, doesn't work on driver or front passenger windows though.
