I have forgotten about going the rim spacer route as it's illegal & the last thing I want to do is kill off any insurance I have, so my question is who has bought new rims & with what offset to fill the guards?
All the rims I can find have either 40mm or 43mm offset...

For years i have changed wheels and never think i ever really thought or heard about Scrub radius.

So Im looking at my new rims and Ive decided to go 9.5. But Im stuck on the offset. Luckily i can choose the offset on the rims im getting.

If I do 30, that makes the most sense...

About to pull the trigger on my Koya 20x9.5 rims but im not convinced on the offset. Looking at the factory upright, the current 20x8.5 offset 38 is very close to the upright spring seat. I am not currently considering coilovers but am considering lowered springs. I know this wont move this seat....

In immaculate condition.

Fronts are 255/30/19 offset is 53
Rears are 235/35/19 offset is 49

Greetings all, i have just recently purchased a golf r and was just wanting to know the perfect fitment without rolling guards etc. With an 18" rim any pics or recommendations on with and offset would be appreciated.

What offset are people running on their mk4? Want to put 8.5” rims with a pos 5 off set and I’ve been told by a tyre company that pos 5 offset won’t fit, it’ll rub on the guards?

Hoping someone might be able to shed some light of recommended rim offset when moving to a 235/70/16 or 235/65/17 with raised suspension on a 2008 T5.

Want to know if I can stick with the stock 16" rims with 51mm offset and run 235/70/16.
