Hi - just bought a 2015 Multivan Highline 4motion and keen to get some ideas regarding Offroad modifications etc!

It's pure wank-factor, and not really sure what each display is indicating (apart from the obvious compass)... but it DOES look kinda cool on the Octy screen!

I found your forum after searching for some VCDS tweaks. I saw known from RT forum DV52's nick, so I feel like I'm in right place - but from EU continent

After two Audi's, I decided to give a chance to VW - to be serious, new A4 line had nothing special to offer...

Ok so i've had some 245/75R16 tyres on stock rims for about 2 years now but only done 30K kms but already they are completely shagged!

So ive worked out the main problem.... the width of the rim. 6.5" is just too narrow for the tyres and the wear pattern is terrible!!!.

We are a VDub family. "The Indoors" has a Generation 6 Golf and i drive a Coffee Brown Amarok 8sp Auto.
currently using the Golf as a "shopping trolley" and setting up the 4WD as an outback offroad tourer towing a hybrid offroad caravan.

new to tiguans and interested in getting together with owners to look over and chat about our cars .. im kind for meets or trips as im wanting to do light offroad trips im keen to lead or followr others how enjoy taking their tigs offroad .

She's 2wd but we're kitting her out for a few off the beaten track camping missions around...

We got off road tech but haven't had the chance to test yet. Does it really make much of a difference to the Tigs ability?

So I've done a bit off off-roading with the Tig, and learned along the way that I needed more precautionary equipment to improve my chances of recovery if I do something silly. I also tend to camp when I go off-roading, and there's come camping extra's I'd like to always have...

With more Tiguans being "tested" offroad, I thought I would ask if there is anyone that has attached a recovery hook to their vehicle in case it needs to be "rescued" ?

You know something like this perhaps where a snatch strap can be attached and...

Seeing as the Tig is a soft-roader I am keen on doing a little off-road driving. Not heavy 4x4'ing as I have no such experience, but some firebreak and light-ish off-roading is appealing.
