Has anyone hooked up an obd2 scanner to their car and monitored for any misfires? Seem to be getting a few but no codes. 2012/13 155 tsi, 145kkms. Starts fine, after about 4 sec I get intermittent misfiring in two of the cylinders. Replaced Plugs and coils. No issues while driving, only at idle. Pcv? There’s a fair bit of vacuum if I remove the oil cap, no whistling though. Good L/100. Small leak in rear main seal?...

using vag com to log misfires
In VCDS the misfire block will switch to "enabled" at idle and log misfires if they exist. I want to look for misfires in a power run, but in these blocks it will switch to "disabled" once the revs move away from idle. How can I look for misfires when underway?

A while back I was getting running rich codes and random misfires. Did a full service new intake manifold seals, plugs, ht leads and coil pack and car was running well. Now I have misfires again in cylinders 2 and 3 only....

Latest service on 2014 Polo came up with error codes - timing angle retardation on cyl. 1 to 4 as well as codes for misfires on cylinder 1 (0 of), cyl 3 (1), cyl 4 (68 of) and cyl 6 (?) (0).
