There is a cable installed in the glove box which requires a 30 point lightning adaptor to connect to my iphone. I order one from Ebay, but it is not genuine Apple.
When connected, and the media button is pressed on the head unit, it should pick it up. But nothing appears.

Just bought an '08 Octi Ambiente 1.9 TDI manual. Lovely car, 103 days, great gearbox, love the gear changes, and 5.3L/ 100Km. We just drove Melbs to Brisvegas delivery, 1750k. Like a clock.
