Hi, I have a howling noise in 6th gear, it starts around 95 kph and goes away at 110 kph and only under acceleration
Would like to know if its transmission or something else

I noticed today that when I am using ACC it has acquired another appended icon that appears at about 10 o'clock on the ACC icon. It comes and goes and my suspicion is it indicates that ALG is active but at the same time the two green lines stay green. Has anyone else encountered this?

Improved fuel consumption after 20k?
I have never recorded any improvement in the fuel consumption of any car I have owned from new, except maybe now I have an exception.
I have now done nearly 23k km in my Octy 3 1.4tsi manual wagon. Soon after purchase I established that cruising at our legal limit of 110 kph in favourably neutral...Last edited by Gerrycan; 21-03-2016, 01:50 PM.
