I have a problem where the HVAC remains on recirculate regardless of setting of the recirc button. All airflow is otherwise normal from vents, fans working. VCDS shows no fault codes so there is no apparent problem with the pollution sensor or flap motors. Changing the cabin air filter made no difference...

In this current heatwave, I find the air-con on my 19.5 Rline doesn't come on until I have driven about 5 km. HVAC settings are in auto. Just ambient air until a few kms down the road then it kicks in(blast of cold air) and everything behaves normally after. Is it some HVAC activation algorithm?

Peeps, any idea why my heater fan increases in speed when I put the gearbox into reverse? Presumably someone's screwed up some wiring somewhere? Do these cars just have the one HVAC fan, or am I hearing a second one kicking in (that's what it kinda seems like)? Thanks for any help with this.
