Here is my Tig which was written off due to hail storm. It served me well for the 4.5 years I owned it.

My Tiguan was hit in the Canberra hail storm on the 20 jan 2020. Still waiting for assessment to see what happens. The insurer has been frustratingly useless.

My car has been damaged in the recent hail storm. There are more than 6 dents on the car, bonnet, roof, side panel and back door.
I have contacted the insurance company and raised the claim.

What's next? Can these damaged be fixed so it will look like never happened?

Hi guys. I'm now wrecking my 2010 Jetta 118 tsi manual.

It it has a blown turbo and I made the mistake of trying to remove the cam cover without realising the cams are attached so if you want the engine you'd have to replace the turbo and cam cover/cams.

The hail that passed by Brisbane recently causing so much damage to so many peoples' cars did a little bit of damage to me. Its very minor though - probably 6-7 small dents in the roof, bonnet and boot lid, not much more than 5mm wide and only slightly dented.

It wasn't worth going through...
