Around mid-2023 I decided to sell my Mk7 GTI Performance to buy something cheaper after recently having bought a newer and larger house, and with a larger mortgage it made sense to sell the GTI and buy a cheaper toy. Recently picked up a Mk7 GTI, so figured it was time to join. Initially wasn’t even considering the Golf, looking mainly at the Fiesta ST/Focus ST, but I’m very glad to have chosen the golf for comfort/refinement. -

I just became the owner of a 2012 Skoda Octavia TSI 90 wagon.
First impressions of a very solid wagon that gets along ok.
Rides a lot smoother than my old 06 Fiesta Zetec, but the tyres definitely need an upgrade.

Coming from the Fiesta ST there were a few mods that I did and were available and not limited to Mountune etc.
