GTI Steering wheel - feels sticky
Hi,
I thought I'd throw it in here.
Mk 7.5 Wife's car. We really don't eat in the car (maybe a T/A coffee and that's about it).
The steering wheel always feels sticky. I have (and generally will) wiped it down with a damp microfibre cloth. I've also used...

Mk7.5 GTI PP 2017-2020 - BSR tune
As I understand it, this car first came out in Aus as the Performance Edition 1, with engine code DLBA and the 7 speed dq381. I purchased mine in 2017. I believe the major difference between 2017 and later years outside of Aus is the addition of the GPF starting in 2018. Don’t think GTI in Aus has...

Vibrating T5
Help! My new 2007 T5 (2.5TDI) has got form with its auto-trans having a major overhaul in 2018 (valve body, t-converter..). It drives really well and feels perfect when stopped in N. When at a standstill in gear however it feels like it wants to go forward or reverse and you have to hold it stationary...

Campaign 34H5
Hi,
I took my Octavia 1.4 TSI 7sp DSG in for its service a couple of weeks ago and one of the things they did was listed as Campaign 34H5 - Gearbox Software Update.
I was just wondering if anyone knew the details of that update. The gear changes feel different - less snappy...

Tiguan APR Stage 2 v2.1 Beta
Hi guys, I've just got the revised APR stage 2 v2.1 beta tune tonight. I have to admit it is very smooth in D and feels much more aggressive in S. Has anyone else got this tune yet? I'm keen on hearing other people's thoughts.....Last edited by Melbourne_Tiggy; 06-05-2016, 09:35 PM.

Sorry to say that after 4 years and 100,000 KMs that my beloved roc and I are parting company.

not moving too far away,...

H & R lowered coils - Golf GTI Mk6 Opinions please?
Guys, I have recently (just prior to Christmas) had some H & R lowered coils fitted to my 2010 GTI Golf.
After reading all I could on them I decided they would be my best option, good value for money etc....
They made the look of the car look just amazing, lowered it by approx. 30-35mm,...

How to remove the fuel pump from a 1995 Ibiza?
We are currently trying to replace the fuel pump in my car but can't figure out how to actually remove the pump. We are following the Haynes book but it simply says remove it. This one feels like it's stuck or clipped in. Any ideas? ...

WTB: Mk3 VR6 OBD1 ECU
Have attempted to solder a performance chip in, and now won't start. Even with the factory when i put it back in.
It feels to me like the immobiliser is cutting the engine.
Any ideas?

Mark IV GTI
I've had a MkIV GTI since 2003 and just picked up an Audi A3. Love the GTI, but the new A3 is a step up again, especially the Quattro and DSG. After driving manuals for 20 years, it feels strange having an auto, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
