I must have mess up something I have zero power now, cannot do anything. is there a switch I could check ? Thank you

I have been directed to this forum to get some advice about a timing chain replacement.

Background info:
- 2008 MKV golf r32
- 180,000km
- Full service history

I was told after a recent service that the timing chain may need to be changed....

I've owned a 2009 Jetta 147TSI for about 10 months now. Picked it up with very low kms, incredible value for money, and I definately feel like they are underappreciated. Currently has custom 3" exhaust and a REVO stage 1 ECU and DSG tune.

Currently considering upgrade options for my daily. Looking at something more mod friendly and better on fuel compared to my R36.

Is a GTI PP good enough for a fun, fast daily or should I pony up a bit more for an R/S3?

I am about to buy my first GTI..I have seen one with 18 inch wheels fitted with 235 tyres. As the GTI is relatively small is it over tyred with 235"s i.e. steering feel and response,tyre noise, unsprung weight.
