I'm an owner of a 2018 Golf R with a 7 speed DSG; stock but for a K&N panel air intake.

Do note that this is my first DSG vehicle, so I'm not necessarily well versed in terms of how they operate; nevertheless, I'm learning!

Anyone had any experience in using Plasti Dip on their unpainted grey bumpers?

Looks like a great option to tidy up the front and/or rear bumpers.

I've just come across some posts talking about having the mirror dip on reverse in the MK5. The ability to activate this option seems to depend on the equipment fitted, and from what I can tell in US spec mk5s you need to have Seat Memory fitted, but apparently for Australian spec cars...

Guys, anyone have a fix for my side view mirrors not dipping when I select reverse? I checked in the set up and the box is definitely checked for them to dip on reverse. Its a 2018 R-line with DAP if that makes any odds.

I recently picked up set of wheels, which had an existing bad plastidip job done to them. In theory, the plastidip should just peel off, however if it is applied too thinly, as was this case, it just scratches off slowly or comes off in tiny little pieces and will take around 20 hours per wheel! ...
