We've just bought a new Transporter with a plan to convert to a camper. I'm planning to have a crack at installing some sound deadening and insulation before handing her over for the fit out.

Looking to start work on the van and first thing is sound proofing and carpets.
Best products for the sound deadening? So much to choose from I would rather see what people recommend. Same with carpet.

I'm helping my son to buy a car and we are considering a manual TDI Caravelle over a Transporter for the obvious reasons of more comfort,power windows extra seats etc.
I'm curious to know whether the Caravelle has sound deadening in the side panels and are there any reasons NOT to buy a Caravelle?...

Does anyone know where I can get an after market power window regulator for a Mk6 Golf R?

Was installing new speakers and deadening, put it all back together and now the cable is all mangled and kinked!!
