Seems all lower Golfs have now done away with the DSG and have a new 8spd proper automatic across all 1.4TSI models including the incoming wagons. Some reliability at last ....

No joke, whenever I adjust the mirror it will activate the automatic wipers which will go off once or twice. Has anyone else had this occur?

So I am looking at selling my current 2005 Manual 2.5L 4motion LWB MID ROOF, and buying a newer AUTO MATIC 2011 model. Is there anything I should ensure that the owner has had replaced before i hand over my money? It has over 160,000kms so im sure some of the mechanical parts...

Not sure if my car has Automatic wipers or not. It's the MY16 Polo GTI.

If it does, how does it work? it never comes on automatically in the rain - its just manual only.
