I am in a tight spot at the moment my mk3 cut out on the freeway, towed it to an old friends place in Bateau Bay 2260 NSW, as it will not start

First thing i found was the crank positioning sensor insualation was crumbly and coming apart

So i replaced the crank...

Surely out of all you mk3 guys somebody must Know if a later model 20v head will bolt onto the 2.0l block, I understand there will be mods needed, but can it be done??
I have an AGG code motor and would love to convert it to 16 valve, but in OZ 20v gear is much more common, can it be done? or...

I need ideas. My daughters 2001 cabriolet has an AGG 2.0 manual. It has been intermittent with not starting(turns over). So far, new fuel pump and 408 relay, new knock sensor, new crank sensor, new dissy complete, leads and plugs good, new battery. She drove to work and it now doesn't want to start...
