Hello. I have one problem with my passat b7. when I accelerate I hear a rattling sound(metal) only in 2100 rpm and 2800 rpm and only when accelerating. The sound can be hear near the engine, if i have open right window it hear more. Thank you.

Hey guys,
I have a R32 which when accelerating makes a whine noise, in all gears over all revs. The whine gets louder with higher revs.
This goes away when I press the clutch in, thoughts on what it could be?
Sounds similar to a wheel bearing needing a replacement.

My car has all of a sudden started with a abnoctuious knock sound, it usually happens when I'm on a roll and I feel the need to come off the pedal, sounds like a turbo spool but with multiple knocks and then when I begin accelerating I get a knock.
