The DSG in my MY08 Golf GTI occasionally will change harshly from 3rd to 4th, and very rarely 4th to 5th. All other gears are perfect and it's only on up shifts and with light/ to moderate throttle. It doesn't feel like a mechanical hard change but rather a pause/ hesitation... -
DSG Tuning, remapping
I'll preface this with the fact I own a Walky tuned VF V8 Calais and the car our Golf 110TSI Highline replaced was a BMW 130i, so both cars with a bucket load of torque.
So with that being said why the hell does the DSG have a desire to slam through the gears like it's on drugs?
