I must say that I'm not much of a joiner. I have visited this site many times in the past and have finally decided to become a member. My family and I have been long time VW owners and have had a number of air cooled beetles and kombis; currently we own a Jetta 147TSI Highline, a Kombi and a Tiguan....

Hey all, the guys at demon-tweeks have asked if my tiguan has 55mm front struts to make sure I get the right coilovers. Anyone know if the pre-facelift 147tsi has 55mm front struts? I've search google but can't find anything definitive.

Please have a look at my mods in my signature.

Currently all in my Tiguan, but will be trading her in.

Better to go to someone here than a dealer who won't value it.

So the plan is to convert my Tiguan 147TSI back to stock.

Tomorrow take delivery of my first Skoda, an ex Skoda Australia Exective's car a 1Z Octavia RS Wagon 147tsi. Have spent the past 4 years with a diesel Mondeo so will enjoy driving something fun again.
