I have a 2012 125 TDI Passat and I've been reading on here that timing belts are due every 105k, yet my service manual says every 180k.

What's the go?

I've got a 2008 Octavia RS TSI manual, with 92,000km. It's due for a 90k service, and I'm wondering if I should get the timing belt done. The handbook says 180k and the dealership quotes 105k, not sure which is right but I'm guessing the 105k. Anyway, as it's 8 years old should...
