How often would replacing the air filter be needed? As far as I know it's never been done on my 08 GTI.
I've seen that supercheap auto have a Ryco filter for $27 and a BMC for $164. I'm a supporter of "you get what you pay for" but it seems like such a jump in price can't really reflect...
