Where do you get those wonderful toys?

Been trying to find small die cast mk 5 GTI (in white) maybe 1:72 or 1:43.

Other than o/s and international eBay, where did you get your models? Any good places in Sydney?

As and When

Collecting is a case of when you find it ,buy it.
I look in all the Kmarts/ Big W / toys-r-us/....... and buy what I can.
Matchbox have a purple mk5, white was the first clour that they came out in. You my be lucky to find some old stock somewhere.
1:43 is harder. Sheriffs used to be good but has gone down hill over the last couple of years.
Best place I find for this scale is ebay UK or Germany. Might cost more but you get a choice.

Carrama has a perfect 4dr white GTI out now and its exactly right. 1:43 scale.
Should find it in your local model shops and the cost?? $5.95 here in Hobart.
I have bought a few of these for friends on other forums ect.
You wont be dissapointed in the quality of this model.
