Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Got the Sun Star mk1 gti from Kiama when i was up there visiting family. Love it. so detailed too

and a few months ago i finished off a MK3 VR6, replicated to look like my VR6. Extensively moddified, i painted the seats, put some spaces on, gave the rear wheels some camber and dropped it, smoked the indicators and smoked the headlights

Nice one mate, the MK3 looks great and you've done a wicked job getting it to look just like yours. Ive wanted to do the same thing for ages but never found a 4 door MK3 kit, where did you get yours?
MK1 is nice aswell, very detailed

I may have a spare for you at the right price (make me an offer) still unopened with the plastic cling wrap intact.
