CAMS APPROVED extinguishers

FYI - at Big W you can get a CAMS approved extinguisher that has in the box a 2 strap metal bracket!

This is is a great buy for those starting out in club events and is only about $30.00

The come through other places - Quell brand

Be careful, as most extinguishers are not comlpliant with the requirement of the 2 strap steel mount. Last time I saw a bracket for sale through a race outlet, it was over $25 bux.

Make sure you check the model of the Quell extinguisher before you buy it.

There is a warning advisory on the CAMS website linking to a recall of certain Quell models.

If you have the model listed and want to use it at a CAMS sanctioned event you will not pass scrutineering.
