Summary: Coilpack in 1996 VR6 died recently. Quite a thorough death with one of the terminals coming off completely. Bought a second-hand one for $100 (vs ~$500 for a new one), that had just one of the boots over the terminals broken off, but terminal still intact, and over the course of a few days, with the help of some JB Weld epoxy and Loctite high-temp silicone, have reconditioned it and now the "German Princess" she's running good as new...
