I was reading the other day that VW have said the Mk6 GTi will be ingesting a newer version of the current 2.0 Turbo and expected outputs are going to be around the 180kW mark. I'll bet anything that same engine will be available in the rocco when it arrives.

They could have done a better job. Its nice, but as someone said it looks a lot like the new Impreza. I'd get one if they put R32 or R36 engine in it.

Nah, i dont know... Yea there was room for improvement. i think it could of been longer... it doesnt have some of the lines like the old mk1 rocco had. front looks like the new lancer

it's not bad at first look, I like it but as said Impreza"ish". NOt so impressive after all. BUt still I like it ;>

I am really disappointed because the IROC was a nice looking concept and the original Scirocco was one of my dream cars when I was 13 years old.

The IROC looked more like the new lancer, which was the only think it had against it. The look of this production version shows derivatives of everything that has been produced in the last 3-5 years...3 series, impreza, alfa 147, Mazda 3, but does not look like a VW to me.

Oh, my dreams have been shattered...

I was honestly hoping they'd remain fairly close to the original concept, but as forementioned, it's starting to look a little too much like a lancer, and the rear end looks like an the Alfa Brera.

Furthermore, what have they dont to the instrument cluster! I love the crazy digitized readouts with what appeared to be a GPS nav system in the other... *sigh*

got to admit, the IROC piqued my interest, however what it has matured into i would gladly leave in the showroom...guess i will have to stay with my original Mk1 till something "better " comes along...
