Did you happen to talk to anyone from VW about the Beetle at all?

Still trying to get some information about when they're due to arrive in Australia and whether we'll get the 2.0T engine and cabriolet models already released overseas.

Even the latest VW Magazine doesn't show the Beetle in the list of models due for sale in 2013, despite having a brief article about the car in the mag itself.
