Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Very nice looing,I look forward to testing a 118 tsi,2.o tdi,AND 147 TSI when they become available.

As I have owned 4 Jettas in the past, there is a very good chance that 1 day in the future I could own another ???

Sharp pricing,I am sure it will once again prove to be a good seller for VW locally.

Overseas, the new model is selling like hot cakes...

Blah, you may as well buy a Passat with those dimenions... It's better looking.

Anyone who knows me will know that I love my Jetta and other larger sized medium car, but this is just boring! I liked the idea of the "Golf with a boot" look and I'm glad I've got one of the later models. I disagree with VW's decision to implement Mk6 parts into Mk5 Jetta's because it doesn't make the interior of the Mk6 exciting in any way.
