  • Its mine,, 1987 Mk1 Golf Cabriolet - $2300

Just picked it up from owner (who was considering changing her mind),,

1987 (imported in 94) Mk1 Karman Clipper Cabriolet Golf, couple of minor bits of rust, no dents, all working nicely (needs a bit of carby work and a tune),, still don't like the mags but can change them later... Odometer dead (speedo Ok), stereo a bit buggered, all trim in place, no big oil leaks or smoke,,, on and on I go,,,

Here's a pic, will get more when the rain stops (in few weeks?)

        Nice car, well done!
(ditch the nasty 3 spokes ASAP, they don't do it justice!)

          Nice find!

Nice to see her with the Indian Ocean in the background and the cranes of Fremantle in the distance! I'm homesick

Nah...you can keep the heat, but you've got just the car in which to enjoy it.

Wheels are very much a matter of taste. I like them but they would look odd on the rear with a brake drum clearly visible. Or does it have rear discs? ('scuse my ignorance.)

might be drums on the rear because its an early model?
