Great pics Ben. Looked like a nice day for a drive, should have taken our 1.9TDI also.

Looks like there's alot more water in the lake now.

      When did you go?

      Maris

PS: That beetle is Brian's. I bet it was parked on the Victor Hbr Rd, down from the Whistle Stop Restraurant

I did a similar drive myself this arvo to see the whales down there in the S3. I was using somewhat more juice than Ben did, even with the 'voice activated speed control device in the passenger seat'.

Also had an R36 wagon do a fly by on me down that back road Tony, you know the one!

2 Bends and he was out of sight......

Nice pics, looks like a pretty scenic trip.

That Golf looks a bit stock though!!

Gav - cool, not many modern VWs in the country surprised you saw an R36

Nothing wrong with stock. Leaves more money for Interstate trips, model VWs and bier

Yup. Seems it's too easy to go overboard with mods, and the obsession with lower is better mystifies me sometimes.

Nice pics Ben. I need to get out for a drive like that - if only I had the time

Are you talking the "back" road between Stirling and Strathalbyn, via Echunga? The R36 eats that road up. I've surprised a few bikes on it before...
                            R36 =
