I have just read in Automotive News USA that the VW group is expected to overtake General Motors this year,to be the second largest automotive group in the world,behind the massive Toyota group...

Toyota and Honda are suffering badly due to their dependence on the US market for sales. With the economic downturn Toyota and Honda's sales are plummeting while VW seems to be taking less of a hit.
