    Nice work anthony!

A good year considering the last few months of the year, an increase from 3717089 in 2007.
2009 will be interesting to say the least!

I wonder if the Golf/Jetta platform was the most produced car in the world in 2008,with almost 1400000 cars.
Was possably beaten by only the Toyota Corolla sedan/Auris hatchback...

The VW group are going to pass GM this year,to become the second largest motor manufacturer in the world, behing the mighty Toyota group.

I beleive that for the first quarter of 2009,VW might have overtaken Toyota,to become the biggest motor company in the world...
Interesting times indeed, but VW seems to be on a roll at the moment.

                Sure Dubbed.
I will however submit them seperately,to have more appeal to fans of the other various brands.
                ENJOY...

                  Thanks Anthony

Wow very, very healthy figures all round. That's a whole lot of VAG!

It looks like Seat is doing well which I wouldn't have predicted 12 months ago.

Anthony - thanks for that -

Does that include China? (and their weird models?)

China is not included in VW AG's annual report.

                      Cheers

Yes Guy H,I am sure that this does include the Chineese production figures.
VW is doing so well because of China,as China has become the biggest new car market in the world, and they are market leaders there.
VW s big markets include Brazil,Russia,India ,and China.
