Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Here's the change from the same month last year:

    Polo = 286 (140)
    Golf = 1,117 (992)
    New Beetle = 30 (39)
    New Beetle Cabrio = 31 (12)
    Jetta = 115 (148 )
    Eos = 191 (92)
    Passat = 233 (180)
    Touareg = 84 (41)

    Caddy = 98 (121)
    Caddy Life = 15 (12)
    Kombi = 1
    Kombi Beach = 1 (10)
    Multivan = 23
    Transporter = 121 (72)
    Transporter c/c = 16 (10)
    Crafter = 28 (18 )

    Total 2390 (2129)

    The volume sellers have dropped off a bit. The Polo is being severely out-gunned by some of the newer kids on the block like the Mazda2, Jazz and Fiesta. The Golf is at the end of its cycle, so this is expected. The Jetta is doing very well though, as is the Tiguan.

          Volkswagen Australia is dead!

          no sales in Australia for the months of feb/ march 2009! Shame!

          But heaps of sales for China, America etc., strange!

              It's surprising to see that VW sold even one Beetle yet alone 30-something, seriously hasn't the joke worn just a tad thin by now? The Scirocco just makes it look like the stale turd that it really is.
