    VW using the Mk5 Jetta platform and going CNG!

    "......the Concept A doesn't have either of these engines. It uses Volkswagen's new "twincharger" engine technology that combines the efforts of a supercharger and a turbocharger to maximize performance and efficiency. VW engineers have determined that this technology works particularly well on natural gas applications, so the Concept A has a 1.4-liter, CNG-powered four-cylinder good for about 148 horsepower...."

      January 6, 2006 Volkswagen dropped a bombshell of significant magnitude in the automotive market overnight by showing a new three wheeled vehicle concept machine which it has billed as a crossover between sports car and motorcycle. That the mighty Volkswagen company should consider such a vehicle…


      Hope they bring this out here....

        If there was ever any proof needed that Volkswagen was seeking to bury its proletarian background and join the other German manufacturers (Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and some of its Volkswagen stablemates such as Audi and Bugatti), at the top end of the market, it is the existence of the W12 Coupe.
