Not entirely practical, but a beautifully built alternative to a TDI

    Jetta

Gives a whole new meaning to "Jetta"... "Jet A"?? Oh, and kerosene and diesel aren't that much different so maybe this should be in the "Diesels" forum

Oh yeah, that's ~kind of~ interesting, but not very practical to my eye.

Hey, All, I just got the notification of the new address of the forum and thought I'd pop in for a quick visit and see if my user/pass still worked on the new forum software. It appaers that it does....

Of course, I'm a bit more partial to my own VW hybrid:

So far, the constabulary has ignored me, but then, I don't go and make a point of flashing it in their face, either. In my state, (Oregon) number plates aren't required for utility trailers, but I made it a point to register and get one anyway so the the rear of the trailer is displaying a current plate and registration in the event that law enforcement approaches from the rear.

The FAQ section of my web page says it best:

Q: What do the police think about it?
          A: I don't know, I didn't ask them.

              Thats a thing of beauty!

I have to congratulate you on the engineering involved to construct this very smart looking Beetle.
I am working on a model jet aircraft with a small ( 72N ) turbine so i certainly appreciate the time and effort put in to make your car a viable thing.

              Well done ..outstanding!
