HGP unveiled its lates creation: the 640hp Golf. Powered by the 3.6 liter V6 engine found also on the Vw Passat R36, the modified vehicle has exactly 10hp
yeah yeah, probably been posted before by others, so no need to remind me.
The article I posted was a much better review that was translated from German and also had an upgraded Porsche Turbo. Performance figures and the like were included as well. How does 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds grab you.
Der HGP Golf R36 ist nicht etwa Opferlamm, sondern heizt mit 640 PS den Supersportlern dieser Welt ein. Überraschend kräftig sogar. Ein Duell mit dem Enco Porsche 911 Turbo.
Unfortunately no one seemed to care then aside from The Hawk and I and who knows if anyone will care now.

Is very super freaking awesome though.
Are our feelings hurt?
"The article I posted was better" -
This article had photos of the engine bay which "yours" didn't, so I enjoyed both of them.
Not sure if I'd want one of these cars, though - there's nowhere where it could be put to use. Wonder what version of the DSG box they used, for it to be able to handle so much mumbo?

Mmm now that I would drive. Imagine keeping up with all types of exotics in a lil ol' Golf! On the other hand I don't think I could spend that much modifying a Golf.
I've started taking very warmly to those rims on the R32.. Considering a set for my MkIV.
I don't know about the paint scheme on the Porsche though :S
