That's really unfortunate that VW has decided to be associated with the political farce that this Olympic Games has become. I wish that more companies and people would've stood against this corrupt and oppressive regime and told them to take their "National Pride" and stick it.

Its a bit late for VW to disassociate itself with China anyway. VW is massive in China, really huge. If you are going to get run over there (pretty likely unfortunately) chances are it will be a VW (or a 'Dazhong' in Chinese). They were one of the first (if not the first) foreign auto manufacturers to set-up there in the 1980's when they entered a joint venture with the communist-run 'First Auto Works'. Back in the 90's every second car in China was a VW Santana, these days it is a Passat or Bora..... if you ever want some VW tourism, you know where to visit.
