Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.     Kudos to the Mods for doing a great job!

    Thanks Mods for keeping things tidy around here.

    There seems to be a bit of spammer activity going on a the moment and the team is straight on it. The speed at which that junk gets cleared out is pretty impressive.

    Once agin thanks for all your time and effort, it is appreciated, although we probably don't say so nearly often enough.

        I'm giving it the thumbs up we don't have a thumbs up icon here

        Its true you can see the spammers all the time gettingregistered and then typing up those threads its a waste of time and resources for the Mods in that sence, they also don't get payed for it.

          thanks guys,,its a big job and takes most of our resources....we try to keep your playground safe and free from porn and other associated offensive spam.


          we are a couple of mods down atm and could use a bit of help.... maybe we should have a spammer thread in general so you guys can link us if you suspect a spammer..... they are usually easy to spot with the idiotic names they use...

            I use this button in the top right of the post to report spammers.

            What actually happens here? Do the mods get a PM from this? Just curious!

            When I report a dodgy post this way, it magically goes away very quickly, I'm assuming the Mods use their super powers and jump straight on it or perhaps the system blocks the post until a mod checks it out?


            Either way the spam goes away!

              with the alert function ,only the mods of that section will get the alert,whereas only supermods and admin can ban and HARD delete spammers.

              maybe it would be better if a Report a SUSPECTED SPAMMER thread in this forum and more vigilant members such as your self can post a link here???
