View count?

Just wondering, for quite some time now when I look a sections the view count on the threads isn't correct, in fact it's usually the number of comments made plus 1. Does this happen for anyone else or only me?

It's only on the newer threads, the old ones that get refressed from time to time show a higher number of views.

I reported this to the admin team a couple of months ago after noticeing the same thing.

well if they know about it it's all good.

The only reason I brought up the issue is when you ask for technical advice in a thread and then a different thread is refressed and made the topmost thread, you're not sure if anyone has seen the question that you're asking.

I'll have a poke around. I notiuced that a long time ago myself but it never seemed to be an issue. I'll find the cause and pass it onto admin.
