Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.     I keep an eye on pageloads and I've noticed that a lot of you are coming in via the gateway page that's intended for new people doing searches and for guests. If you want to get here quickly check "log me in automatically" and bookmark the index page in your "favourites". This will take you to http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...load/index.php and keep you logged in.

      that link takes me to the old forum software. Ive been using this link http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...load/index.php which seems a little clumsy

        Yeah.. Sorry for missing an update..

        I'll edit that link. The reason that the link to the new forum is so "clumsy" is that a new folder had to be created in order to import the database from the old forum. This added an extra step. Anyway, the link works.
