Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)

Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    hi vdubbers,
    has anyone else noticed non received/non sent alert to threads you have subscibed to? iv noticed this since yesterday,that my email alerts are not coming to my inbox..

    Check your user control panel settings. My alerts are working OK

      everything seems fine on the cp.noticed this morning that emails are being sent but not instantly as usual.I was on internet up untill 11.30pm ,received this morning a posting alert from 4.30pm sunday arvo. maybe a problem on my side?

        posted yesterday on the mk4 forum.so far received 3 email notifications for the same post by h100vw.all this morning.one at 7.41pm,7.59pm and 9.02pm??? ,

          I suspect it is you email ISP.

            had my brother inlaw on the phone as he emailed me last night.received instantly.if it is the isp,why would I receive 3 alerts for the same post?

              email notification is about 9hrs late.double checked my email notification,all ok.is there anything else it could be???

                My notification is quite quick. Sometimes emails get queued for long periods especially during busy times. If you have another email account try nominating that in your User CP and see what happens.

                    ok,,,reset my email addy at about 9ish,,then got locked out!just received the verify email at 5pm..bigpond is working fine and all my clocks are set correctly.anyone have any idea how to rectify this ????
